2011 Acura TSX is a new car that deserves to be ridden. It's low to the ground and deal with the kind of assurance that only one may expect a much more expensive.Thiscar has all the power that this lead-footed women may need to be recognized when merging into freeway. With a quick and nimble car can walk around town and in the mall parking lot. With lots of cargo space, the TSX handles all of our equipment as well as handled the road.
The only disappointment was the legroom in the back seat. That was enough for my children, ages 7 and 10, but adults may feel a bit cramped. But for a small family, the TSX is perfect.
Here's a quick review for this car 2011 Acura TSX:
Exterior
The TSX's wheels are accented by large fender flares, and the front of the car is defined by a grille that features a silver-colored upper bar. The predominant visual change for 2011 affects the bumper, where a trapezoidal air dam has been reversed. It's now larger at its base, projecting a frowning expression versus last year's smiling air dam. Exterior features include:
* Standard xenon headlights
* Standard fog lights and mirror-integrated turn signals
* 17-inch silver alloy wheels standard on four-cylinder models
* 18-inch silver alloy wheels standard on V-6 models
Interior
The TSX's interior has a high-quality appearance and room for up to five people. The standard stereo is USB/iPod compatible. Bluetooth connectivity is also standard. The center controls have been redesigned for 2011, and the optional navigation system has 400 percent better resolution versus last year's system. It also boasts enough hard drive space for 15 gigabytes of uploaded personal music, as well as faster processing power and expanded map coverage. Interior features include:
* Standard power-adjustable heated front seats
* Standard leather upholstery and moonroof
* Standard dual-zone automatic climate control
* Mobile phones with audio players can sync with TSX's audio system using Bluetooth
* Available navigation system with traffic and weather updates
* Available CD/DVD-Audio disc compatible surround-sound system with 10 speakers
Under the Hood
Thanks to reduced friction, combined EPA gas mileage for the front-wheel-drive TSX's four-cylinder engine is 26 mpg with a five-speed automatic or 24 mpg with a six-speed manual. Both are up 1 mpg versus last year's numbers. The V-6, which comes only with the automatic, now gets 23 mpg combined — a 2-mpg improvement over last year. All automatics include steering-wheel paddle shifters. Mechanical features include:
* 201-horsepower, 2.4-liter four-cylinder with 170 (automatic) or 172 (manual) pounds-feet of torque; five-speed automatic or six-speed manual
* 280-hp, 3.5-liter V-6 with 254 pounds-feet of torque; five-speed automatic only
Safety
Safety features include:
* Antilock brakes
* Frontal and side-impact airbags for the front seats
* Side curtain airbags for both rows
* Electronic stability system
* Active head restraints for front seats
Upshot: 2011 Acura TSX is destined for a small family and not too many members, because with it the comfort of driving will become more mainstream and togetherness will continue to be maintained
